About HeroMazes

Welcome to HeroMazes, a place where classic maze puzzles meet fantasy adventure.

HeroMazes creates unique, printable, and playable maze adventures where every maze becomes a miniature quest. Instead of simply finding the exit, players explore dungeons, collect treasures, find keys, unlock gates, discover magical items, and defeat monsters along the way.

How It Works

Every maze is generated automatically and includes:

Each adventure requires planning your route carefully. Sometimes the shortest path isn't the best path!

Our Goal

HeroMazes was created to combine the simplicity of traditional maze puzzles with the excitement of fantasy role-playing games.

Every maze tells a small story:

Find the key. Defeat the monster. Collect the treasure. Escape the dungeon.

Simple to learn, fun to master.

Built by an Indie Creator

The idea is older than HeroMazes itself. As a kid, a friend and I used to draw mazes on our schoolbooks โ€” with keys, monsters, weapons and doors to the next level โ€” and trade them to solve. No phones, no computers; it was our own paper Dungeons & Dragons.

HeroMazes began, years later, as a simple project for my children.

They loved solving mazes I drew or generated online, and I found myself constantly searching for new adventures to print for them. At first, I was simply looking for an automated way to generate fresh mazes with a bit more excitement than the traditional "find the exit" puzzle.

What started as a small family project quickly grew into something much bigger.

New ideas kept appearing: keys and locked gates, monsters and weapons, treasure hunts, quest objectives, printable adventures, daily challenges, and eventually an entire fantasy maze generator.

Today, HeroMazes generates thousands of unique adventures and is enjoyed by players around the world. If you're playing right now, you're experiencing the result of countless late nights, experiments, and improvements inspired by those first maze-loving kids.

Thank you for visiting, thank you for playing, and thank you for supporting independent creators.

I hope HeroMazes brings you as much fun and adventure as it has brought to my family.
