Who We Are
HeroMazes (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent maze-adventure generator. This policy applies to the HeroMazes website and game.
Information We Collect
- Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address and chosen username so you can log in and save your progress.
- Gameplay data. When you complete a maze we record scores, times, move counts, treasures collected, and the maze settings, so we can show your history and leaderboards.
- Preferences. Settings such as your theme (light/dark) and rendering options (shadows, ambient occlusion, filmic tone mapping) are saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers them.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics may process basic technical information such as browser type, device, and general usage to keep the service running and secure.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide the game: generating mazes, saving progress, and showing leaderboards.
- To maintain your account and authenticate you when you log in.
- To improve HeroMazes and fix problems.
- To display advertising that helps keep HeroMazes free.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-Party Services
- Supabase — provides our authentication and database, storing your account and gameplay data securely on our behalf.
- Google AdSense — serves advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings and learn more at Google’s advertising policy.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — helps us understand how visitors use HeroMazes (for example, which pages are popular) so we can improve it. It uses cookies to collect aggregated, de-identified usage statistics. You can read Google’s Privacy Policy and opt out site-wide with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use local storage to remember your preferences and a small amount of session data to keep you logged in. Advertising and analytics partners may set cookies as described above. You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings, though some features (like staying signed in) may stop working.
Children’s Privacy
HeroMazes is family-friendly and enjoyed by children, but accounts are intended for adults or for children with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Data Retention & Your Rights
We keep your account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To make a request, please reach out through our Contact page.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may be highlighted within the app.
